It's Read an E-Book Week, and many publishers and self-published authors are offering fantastic deals on their books. Here, for your convenience, I list the best of the bunch for the lowest price. These 10 great reads are all just $0.99 each! To purchase any of these books, just click on the title to go to Amazon.com. The first two in this list are books that I recently reviewed on my blog. The remainder are in my to-be-read (TBR) collection on my Kindle. If you have a different e-reader (e.g. Kobo, Nook), or plan to read e-books on a PC, Mac, tablet or other piece of technology, you may need to convert the Kindle books below to another format. The best free tool I have found for converting e-books is Calibre. Edited to add: You can also download the appropriate Kindle reader.

Kafka's House - by Gabriela Popa
Product Description (from amazon.com): "This is, paradoxically, a luminous piece of fiction about a haunting time and place. It is a story about being born and growing up in a closed society, and learning the painful road to trusting others. More than anything else, it is the magical story of parental love, and its staunchness in face of danger, evil - or, simply, time."

The List - by J.A. Konrath
